Morning Journey

At 8:30 AM, we gathered at Exit A of Futian Port. wxy was half an hour late, so we crossed the border at 9:00 and arrived at the Golden Bauhinia by 10:00. That made me, as the leader, not dare to play around Kowloon first and head straight to the Golden Bauhinia. To my surprise, there was basically no one there (lol). After taking photos (we originally wanted to take pictures of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, but couldn't agree, so we switched to just taking photos), we had plenty of time. They didn't want to take a boat to Kowloon and come back either, so we walked to the Ferris wheel… During that time, I wanted to take the subway, but they wanted to walk, which led us to take a wrong turn and end up roasting in the sun for forty minutes.

We left. They felt there was nowhere else interesting to go and didn't want to head back to Hong Kong Island. They were thinking of going home for dinner. I hadn't had enough fun yet. Luckily, there was someone familiar with the area to guide them. I felt reassured about them, since only one person had never been to HK before. As for me, I decided to go back to Hong Kong Island. I took the MTR to Causeway Bay, then rode a ding ding tram to Wan Chai (actually, I could have gotten off directly at Wan Chai, but I was chatting with a friend and missed my stop. When I got off, I saw a southbound SU7 Ultra). Since I was already there, I figured I might as well check in at Queen's Road East. After that, I walked a few streets and passed by United Centre.

I wanted to keep walking, but I just didn't have the energy. My shoulder has been hurting from sleeping on it for a few days, and even after taking Fenbid yesterday, it's still the same. Carrying a backpack for too long is really tiring, and my shoulder is starting to hurt again… So now it's 17:27. It's 7:50. I have to go back. This afternoon, I walked from Central to Admiralty, and now from Admiralty to the Convention Centre, and finally got on the MTR. That was close. I was sweating a lot and felt a bit chest tightness. I checked online, and luckily it was just dehydration, but it lasted until I crossed the border (because I couldn't get a seat). After passing customs and arriving in Shenzhen, I got a seat both times. So happy. I finished my water, and my heart felt fine. I'll rehydrate when I get home.
